I was about 12 yards from the target. She corrected my grip, stance and release. Even though I thought I was not gripping the bow she said I was and showed me how to change it. My shoot process word to this will be 'soft'. She said I was leaning toward the target and she said I should be balanced evenly on both feet. My shoot process for this will be 'center'. She said that I had a good anchor but I was not using my back. She wants me to get to my anchor then increase the tension in the center of my back. This will cause me to release the arrow and have a proper follow through. My shoot process word for this will be 'tension'.
So my Shoot Process is now this - Look at my target, stance, acquire and notch the arrow, attach the release and draw the bow, 'center', 'soft' grip, anchor, aim, 'tension'.
I have been able to use this with both my recurve and compound bows and I am having success except I still care where the arrows goes.
Christine did point out that she felt my draw length was too short and that I should get it made longer which I will do. But I think it is as long as it can be set - I know we had already changes the cam to make it longer and I think they are as long as they can be made.
